Pediatric

We recommend children have an appointment by a dentist before they reach 3 years old. It’s also a great opportunity to bring your kids to cleaning visits to get them used to the dentist. We all love children here at the office and we make their visits calm and enjoyable as possible. At Zand Family Dental our staff prides ourselves in making your child’s visit as comfortable as possible.

Teeth Whitening

In under an hour using state-of-the-art laser whitening technology, we are able to produce amazingly beautiful smiles. Tooth blemishes are a regular problem stemming from many factors such as coffee, sweets, tobacco and even aging, but thanks to our laser whitening technology, it’s no longer a concern!

Orthodontic

In striving to make the best possible smile, we offer the option of conventional bands and bracket braces, as well as clear invisible braces to fit a patient’s needs. A straight smile has never been so easy!

Periodontal Disease Treatment

Periodontal disease is caused by in abundant level of bacteria in the gums. Although most people are unaware of this condition, it’s easily manageable with simple treatment; with deep cleaning visits to our office and with effective oral cleaning from home.

Fillings

Composite fillings are bonded to the teeth creating a natural, superior fit. This easy process strengthens the tooth’s overall structure and restores its original shape. They are also esthetically pleasing as they are perfectly camouflaged with the teeth.

Root Canal

Infection and swelling of tooth pulp can occur by cracks, repeated dental procedures, trauma, or deep decay. A root canal is a non-surgical treatment to alleviate these symptoms to restore teeth to their natural condition.

Crown / Bridges / Implant restorations

Crowns and bridges can be used as a long-term solution for any accidental damage, lost teeth, or a result of old fillings breaking. We use high-grade porcelain, and gold for our materials of choice.

Sealants

Easy to apply, tooth-colored acrylic coating applied to the biting surfaces of teeth. It effectively seals deep grooves preventing harm to enamel from plaque and acids.

Extractions

Extractions with wisdom teeth, decaying, or teeth that have broken away and cannot be repaired can be performed conveniently at our office. Dr. Zand will discuss replacement options for the extracted teeth after they have properly healed.

Full / Partial Dentures:

Our dentures are made of strong and light acrylic, replacing previously extracted teeth and providing support for cheeks and lips. It is important for denture wearers to continue with routine dental examinations to check for tissue changes and proper denture fit.

TMJ treatments

If you have ever experienced symptoms of pain, noises in jaw while eating, or having trouble opening and closing your mouth, the culprit is usually grinding and clenching teeth. Depending on the severity of the condition, we offer treatment options such as bite splints, laser treatment, as well as anti-inflammatory relief to help correct and alleviate these symptoms.

Laser Gum Therapy

When laser treatment is performed, it eliminates the use of scalpel and sutures that come from traditional gum disease treatments. There is little to no bleeding, minimal swelling, and post-op sensitivity is minimal. Rarely anesthetic is required. The laser acts as a sterilizer, greatly reducing the risk of infections.

Dr. Zand is prepared to rescue your dental emergency quickly and accurately. Visit our offices as soon as possible. The earlier treatment begins, the better we can extend teeth longevity.

Botox / Fillers

Cosmetic dentistry has come a long way in the past 30 years. The aesthetic areas that Botox are commonly used for are smoothing of facial wrinkles of the forehead, between the eyes, the corners of eyes, and around the lips. Botox has a clinical importance in TMJ cases, helping patients with severe bruxism and chronic TMJ pain. Botox compliments esthetic dentistry cases, as a minimally invasive alternative in treating high lip lines, and lip augmentation also. Effects last 3- 4 months
